ABC Family Announces “Shadowhunters” Premiere Date

ABC Family announced today at New York Comic Con two major dates for their highly anticipated saga series “Shadowhunters.” Showrunner Ed Decter announced to a packed room that the series will premiere on Tuesday, January 12th, 2016, at 9:00 – 10:00 p.m., ET/PT. He also announced that in anticipation of the January 12th premiere, ABC Family will be airing “Beyond the Shadows: The Making of Shadowhunters” onSunday, December 6th at 9:30 p.m., ET/PT. ABC Family is becoming Freeform in January 2016.
